summary of qualifications

web design. Branding strategies, usability standards, navigation schemas, and design elements are combined to create clean, balanced, intuitive, and sleek web sites. Designs allow customers to improve their online presence and top their competitors, receiving recognition within their respective industries and from organizations such as The Webbie Awards.

usability design. User interfaces designed for shopping carts, content management systems, and specialized tools are smooth, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing experiences. Following the ideal that form=function, icons and layouts are well-designed and aesthetically pleasing while utilizing CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), usability standards, and smooth, easy-to-follow process flows.

illustration design. Technical concepts are effectively communicated through the integration of color theory, compositional balance, and movement in illustrations. The fundamental points of each concept concisely create a dialog between the technology and the viewer.

identity design. Logos and company identities speak to the essence of "who they are". Descriptive adjectives are artfully portrayed through icons, contrast, balance, and the integration of typography and color. Proven ability to work with diverse markets to create effective, holistic brand experiences and images.

print design. The design of printed marketing materials is approached creatively; innovative compositions are complemented by research, art and design principles, and color theory. Typography and existing branding standards (if applicable) transparently communicate the core message of each piece.
